This is a love story

This isn’t your average love story but it’s a love story none the less. It’s a story about friendship. 
We met on SpareRoom in February and within a week I was moved in. You had only moved in a month before but when I came to view the flat, something clicked into place. 
Fast forward a month and it’s March and we are thrown into lockdown together, still trying to navigate the new flatmate situation and each other’s settled ways and living arrangements. 
Fast forward a further 5 months and we know each other inside and out, 5 months, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, locked down together in our lovely little 2 bedroom flat. 
5 months of talking, laughing, crying, hugging, napping, gardening, cooking, drinking, dancing, endless games of cards and all the wine. 
You’ve helped me through my struggles more than you’ll ever know. Friendship is everything and during this pandemic we found exactly that. 
You’re a gem, one of the rarest kinds. I’ll forever be grateful that I was one of the lucky ones that found you.
