Canal adventures

His cat moved in before he did. I was ready 6 months earlier to share my canal boat home with his cat. I needed a bit more time with the human due to sharing a such a small space. He moved in officially in March then lockdown happened. 

We decided to leave our permanent marina to socially distance in the countryside whilst WFH and it was the best decision. We ended up spending the long hot summer exploring the UK whilst always being our home. It was amazing to have the opportunity to spend so much time together and we coped with the small living conditions surprisingly well.

We got to the point where we needed to see other people so we both looked forward to returning back to work in September. Now we are moored up for the winter and I miss our nomadic summer adventure. Lockdown confirmed I made the right decision. I think the cat agrees with me.
