Busy

I'd been single all through the lock down after my relationship finished with my ex last summer. I honestly had the best time just with being with me. Plus the fact you couldn't meet anyone also took the pressure off from friends and family at finding a boyfriend.

When lock down was over I thought I'd better make an effort and see what was out there. A few weeks ago I meet with this guy. To be honest he didn't much look like his profile but it was my first date in a year so just went along with it just to get out the house.

He was actually really lovely. We swapped numbers and went out again for dinner. No cheeky kiss afterwards - just a hug but I'm ok with that. Onto date three. He comes to my house for dinner. It was great. We chatted, drank wine, stayed up late and he stayed over. Nothing happened except a kiss and cuddle.

Two weeks later (yes a whole two weeks) and we're onto date four. He was picking me up. Said he could stay over if he wanted a drink. He said yes! So he pulls up outside my house. I wait for him to knock. He's a while sitting outside in the car so I thought he must be on the phone. 10 mins later I check. He's left!!

I casually message if he was ok - got a blunt 'busy atm' reply. Odd. He then cancels 10 mins later as 'something has come up'. And that is the last I've heard from him. This was a week ago. I know I deserve better but it was nice to think this could have gone somewhere. Worst part is I had nothing in for dinner! So had to have a beige freezer dive tea. 

I then get matched with a guy who asked me how I feel about being naked... all the time. And he even offered me a job...! Its been a rollercoaster month!
