A journey

We’ve been on quite a journey haven’t we? I think since we discovered Lockdownlovestories I could have written every single type of lockdown love story about us. In fact I probably have in my notes a draft of exactly what I would say for each type of love I’ve had for you, but you could probably tell by my sign language what I wanted to say anyway. But I am so glad I’m writing this one. I’ve been waiting for the perfect time… and it’s here. 

I love how happy you are. I love that you have put your self love above everything else. I love the progress you have made with your mental health. I love that you’re succeeding in your career. I love that you’re in a happy relationship and have a great circle of friends here. I am beyond proud of you. Yes we’re complex, yes I adore you, yes you are my best friend and you always will have the biggest space in my heart. But you’ve found your baby girl and I know you’ll be looked after when I move. All I’ll say is You better find a ticket to ride down to London…
