The higher you climb: part 3

I went to Italy. He never met me at the lake. But the world had other plans for me I was offered a job in Italy and have now been living here for 4 months. I fell in love with the place its the most giving , loving place I have ever experienced. COVID is still a big part of Italy and restrictions are still in place , the people here are so poised and accepting of the rules .Even with masks they smile with their eyes. New year was magical even though we could not enjoy the indoors we celebrated beside naked statues sipping from a bottle of prosecco. I don't have a cute ending with the romantic Italian but I know I can always rely on myself to make my own happiness and waking up in this beautiful place everyday. l'amore è ciò che lo fai.
